New for 2026, the borough has made a change to the way we will pick up trash and recycling on holiday weeks…….
- If your regular trash / recycling day falls on a holiday, your trash / recycling will be picked up on Wednesday that week. No other trash / recycling routes or days are affected. For example, If Monday is a holiday, Monday’s trash route will be picked up on Wednesday that week. Similarly, if Friday is a holiday, Friday’s trash and recycling routes will be picked up on Wednesday for that week
- There will be no town wide electronics or metal pick up on any holiday week. Metal / Electronics pick up will resume the following week
- During Yard Waste Season: If the holiday falls on Monday, there will be no yard waste collected that week. Yard waste collection will resume the following Monday
