About Stratford OEM
The Stratford Office of Emergency Management is a municipal public safety department that functions under the authority of the Office of the Mayor during times of emergencies, and under the Director of Emergency Services or Public Safety Director on a day-to-day basis.
The office of Civil Defense was originally formed under the authority of the Federal Civil Defense Act of 1950, and amended (P.L,81-920) and the New Jersey State of Emergency Management Act of 1942.

Camden County’s Hazard Mitigation Plan
The Borough of Stratford is participating along with Camden County in the update of the Hazard Mitigation Plan which helps to be eligible for federal funding to rebuild stronger after disasters have struck. Stay engaged in the process and take the HMP Citizen Preparedness survey today and let the county know your concerns!
