The Borough of Stratford is governed under a Mayor-Council form of government. The Council consists of six (6) members elected at large for three year terms. The Mayor is elected to a four year term. The Municipal elections are held on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November.
Council Meetings in 2025
Starting in January we will be going down to one Council Meeting a month, which will be on the second Thursday of each month. So for January we have the Reorganization Meeting January 7th and the Regular Council Meeting will be January 9th, both at 6:30 pm.
February, Council Meetings, will be in-person at the Public Safety Building on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm.
