On or about November 19, 2017. the gas line construction project will be in Stratford. There will be a series of road closures and detour routes. Here is the latest information as of October 18, 2017:

Here is what we know so far:

January 1st – March 1st | Laurel Road will be completely closed south bound, at Atlantic Avenue to Chews Landing Road.
January 1st – January 30th | Construction will be underway 24 hours per day
March 1st | Laurel Road will be closed @ Warwick Road to thru traffic

A NEW DETOUR PLAN IS BEING PLANNED WHICH WILL INCREASE TRAFFIC
ON WARWICK ROAD, FROM MAGNOLIA THRU STRATFORD INTO LAUREL SPRINGS. THE WARWICK ROAD DETOUR IS EXPECTED TO BE
IMPLEMENTED DURING THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 23, 2017

To help to ease congestion on Vassar Avenue, the traffic lights at Vassar & Atlantic and the light on Longwood & Warwick will be manually controlled by police officers.
